Dorentinë Selimi-Chappuis studied at the University in Lausanne. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Swiss law in 2015, followed by a Master's degree in law, majoring in “private and tax law of wealth”, in 2017. In parallel to her studies, Dorentinë Selimi-Chappuis worked as a court clerk at Eastern Vaud District Court.

After completing her legal traineeship at a major law firm in Lausanne, and obtaining her bar exam in 2021, Dorentinë Selimi-Chappuis worked as a clerk at the Cantonal Public Prosecutor's Office STRADA before joining a major legal protection insurance company, where she took on a large portfolio of cases in real estate law and contract law.

She joined MITREA & ASSOCIES in March 2025 as an associate.

A native French and Albanian speaker, Dorentinë Selimi-Chappuis is also fluent in English.
